Question 1

Is Kinnect Family Tree like Ancestry?

Accepted Answer

No. Ancestry and genealogy tools dig up records and bloodlines. Kinnect Tree is a private map of the family you live with now (blood, blended, and chosen), invite-only, not a public research project.

Question 2

Can I include adopted or chosen family?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Kinnect is built for real families, not only bloodlines. Add the people who belong, however you define family, and keep the map private.

Question 3

Is the Family Tree free?

Accepted Answer

Family Tree is included with Kinnect Family Membership: $20 a year for you plus five people you invite. One plan, no free tier product.

Question 4

Can we share stories and files from the tree?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tree sits with Storybooks, Journal, and Vault in the same private membership, so people, memories, and important papers live together, not in three different apps.

See your people. Invite them in.
